The 30th annual IEEE Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (IEEE 2017 CCECE) will be held in Windsor, Ontario, Canada from April 30 to May 3, 2017. CCECE is the flagship Canadian conference for researchers, students, and professionals in the area of Electrical and Computer Engineering. IEEE 2017 CCECE’s general theme “Two Great Nations Innovate the Technology” reflects the close direct impact of ECE research on industrialization and the position of Windsor as a border city to USA.

Papers are invited in the following Tracks:
● Bioengineering
● Communications and Networks
● Computer and Software Techniques
● Control and Robotics
● Devices, Circuits, and Systems
● Power & Energy Circuits and Systems
● Signal Theory and Signal Processing


Submission Information
Submitted papers must be unpublished and should not be submitted elsewhere at the same time. Accepted papers should not exceed 6 pages in two-column IEEE Transactions style. Accepted papers longer than 4 pages will be charged $100 for each extra page. Papers should be submitted as PDF files through the paper submission system (https://edas.info/uploadConferencefile.php?c=22989).

Submission Dates have been extended as follows:
● Proposals for Tutorials & Special Session - February 17
● Full Paper Submission - February 24
● Acceptance Notifications - March 17
● Final Version Paper with Registration - March 24


Indexing
All submitted papers will be peer reviewed by at least three independent reviewers. Please see the website for further registration details. Accepted papers will be published in the CCECE 2017 Conference Proceedings and will be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, conditional upon meeting additional requirements as detailed on the conference web site. Conference content will also be submitted for inclusion into other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.

Possible Journal Publication
In addition, authors are invited to submit extended versions of their presented conference papers for consideration in the CCECE 2017 Special Issue of the IEEE Canadian Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering (CJECE) within four weeks of the conference final day. CJECE is indexed on IEEE Xplore and accepts submissions via the ScholarOne Manuscript portal. Please see http://journal.ieee.ca/ for more information.
