The 7th International Conference on AI & Mobile Services (AIMS 2018)
AIMS 2018 organizing committee invites you to participate in the 7th edition of AIMS, to be held on June 25-June 30 2018, Seattle, USA.

Regular Theme of AIMS 2018: Mobile and AI applications

AI has revolutionized the computing paradigm in multiple domains, such as economics, finance, e-commence,etc. AI provide the abilities to link cyberspace and physcial space, and social space. AI as a service will greatly reshape current techonglogies. Also wireless and ubiquitous connectivity have enabled mobile computing and Internet access on the go as a life-enhancing and indispensable experience of modern life. More than 50 billion devices, in more than 200 device types, will likely be connected to the Internet by 2020 as integral components of a new generation of high-value application services for consumers and enterprises. API-defined mobile services have become essential ubiquitous services consumption and delivery enablers for many industries and government organizations worldwide.

The 2018 International Conference on AI & Mobile Services (AIMS) aims at providing an international forum that is dedicated to exploring different aspects of AI( from technologies to approaches and algorithms) and mobile services (from business management to computing systems, algorithms, and applications) and to promoting technological innovations in research and development of AI and mobile services, including, but not limited to, wireless & sensor networks, mobile & wearable computing, mobile enterprise & eCommerce, ubiquitous collaborative & social services, machine-to-machine & Internet-of-things clouds, cyber-physical integration, big data analytics for mobility-enabled services, and AI & machine learning theory, algorithms & applications.

The technical program of AIMS 2018 will include The HotTopics, a research track, an application track, a short paper track, and a collection of special tracks. The research track will highlight foundational work that strives to push beyond the limits of existing mobile services and AI platforms and products, including experimental efforts, innovative systems and investigations that identify weaknesses in the existing mobile and AI services models.

All topics relevant to Intelligent mobile technology and AI are of interest. AIMS 2018 will organize refereed paper reviews in 9 research areas:

AI & Wireless & sensor networks
AI & Mobile & wearable computing
AI & Mobile enterprises & eCommerce
AI as a service
AI & Ubiquitous collaborative & social services
AI & Machine-to-machine Interaction
AI & Internet-of-things & edge computing
AI & Cyber-physical integration
AI & Bigdata analytics for mobility-enabled services
AI & Mobile Health and Services

The AIMS 2018 tracks seek original, UNPUBLISHED research papers reporting substantive new work in various aspects of delivering intelligent mobile services. Track papers MUST clearly indicate their contributions to the field and properly cite related work in the field, such as those published in the proceedings of ICWS, SCC, CLOUD, SE, SERVICES, APSCC, ECOWS, and related journals including TSC, JWSR, and IJBPIM.

All submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by at least 3 program committee members. Accepted and presented papers from all AIMS tracks will appear in the conference proceedings published by SCF. Extended versions of selected research track papers will be invited for potential publication in the IEEE Transactions on Services Computing (TSC), International Journal of Web Services Research (JWSR), and International Journal of Business Process Integration and Management (IJBPIM). Both TSC and JWSR are indexed by SCI and EI [Link]. According to Thomson Scientific, TSC's Impact Factor in 2016 is 3.52.

Submitted research and applications and industry track manuscripts will be limited to 8 (SCF Proceedings style) pages and REQUIRED to be formatted using the SCF Proceedings template (WORD, Latex). Submitted Short Paper track manuscripts will be limited to 4 (SCF Proceedings style) pages. Unformatted papers and papers beyond the page limit will not be reviewed. Electronic submission of manuscripts (in PDF or Word format) is required. Detailed instructions for electronic paper preparation and submission, panel proposals, tutorial proposals, workshop proposals, and review process can be found at conference site.

At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register to the conference and present the paper. One Best Paper award and one Best Student Paper award will be granted at AIMS 2018. The first author of the best student paper must be a full-time student.

If your paper is application or solution oriented, you can consider submitting it to AIMS 2018 Application Track. SCF Policy and professional ethics require that referees treat the contents of papers under review as privileged information not to be disclosed to others before publication. It is expected that no one with access to a paper under review will make any inappropriate use of the special knowledge, which that access provides. Contents of abstracts submitted to conference program committees should be regarded as privileged as well, and handled in the same manner. The Conference Publications Chair shall ensure that referees adhere to this practice.

Organizers of SCF conferences are expected to provide an appropriate forum for the oral presentation and discussion of all accepted papers. An author, in offering a paper for presentation at a SCF conference, or accepting an invitation to present a paper, is expected to be present at the meeting to deliver the paper. In the event that circumstances unknown at the time of submission of a paper preclude its presentation by an author, the program chair should be informed on time, and appropriate substitute arrangements should be made. In some cases it may help reduce no-shows for the Conference to require advance registration together with the submission of the final manuscript.
