Reading Difference, Reading Evil is sequel to the 2013 conference held on the campus of the Interdenominational Theological Center. Radically themed A Biography of Darkness, the conference had explored the historical uses of darkness in relation to the continent of Africa.
This coming event, rather than a departure, is a proposition to further the conversations around assumptions of power, privilege, and divine sanctions in the and discursivity of difference.
