The Fourth International Conference on Information Systems for Crisis Response and Management in Mediterranean Countries (ISCRAM-med 2017) aims to provide an outstanding opportunity and an international forum for local and international researchers, practitioners and policy makers to address and discuss new trends and challenges in the area of Information Systems for Crisis Response and Management.

Attendees are invited to present recent research results in relation to the conference topics. To discuss their experiences from case studies and inform the community about the application of best practices. All paper submissions must make a new and significant contribution to the body of knowledge on information systems and technologies for emergency management, support their contribution with valid arguments, and be clearly structured and well written.

PAPER CATEGORIES
ISCRAMMed2017 invites three categories of papers:
Full papers presenting valid, original, relevant cutting edge research that will be reviewed to the highest academic standards. Reviewing will pay additional attention to the application of the related scientific literature and theory, to the use of an appropriate research methodology, and to technical, mathematical and statistical correctness (10-14 pages, LNCS format).

Short papers introducing cutting edge research in progress and outstanding that do not have yet a comprehensive evaluation as full papers but still suppose a contribution in the domain of information systems and technologies for emergency management (6-7 pages, LNCS format).

Demo papers presenting new developments in emergency management and policy making, discussing approaches, methods, tools, (best) practices and standards.
