he Program Committee of the 6th Brazilian Conference on Intelligent System (BRACIS) invites submissions of original research papers for the conference, to be held in Uberlândia, MG, Brazil, from October 2nd to 5th, 2017.

BRACIS is one of the most important events in Brazil for researchers in the field of Artificial and Computational Intelligence. The conference aims to promote theory and applications of Artificial and Computational Intelligence. BRACIS also aims for the promotion of international level research by exchanging scientific ideas among researchers, practitioners, scientists and engineers.

The yearly event series started in 2012 from the combination of the Brazilian Symposium on Artificial Intelligence – SBIA (21 editions) and the Brazilian Symposium on Neural Networks – SBRN (12 editions).

In 2017, BRACIS will be held in conjunction with:
- 5th Symposium on Knowledge Discovery, Mining and Learning (KDMile)
- 14th National Meeting for Artificial and Computational Intelligence (XIV Encontro Nacional de Inteligência Artificial e Computacional - ENIAC)
- 11th Brazilian Symposium in Information and Human Language Technology (STIL)
- 32nd Brazilian Symposium on Databases (XXXII Simpósio Brasileiro de Banco de Dados - SBBD)
