The 2018 5th International Conference on Coastal and Ocean Engineering (ICCOE 2018) will be held during April 27-29, 2018 in Shanghai, China. ICCOE 2018 is Co-organized by Hong Kong Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (HKCBEES) and Shanghai Maritime University. It brings together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of Coastal and Ocean Engineering to a common forum.

Nowadays, demand for energy is growing. Conventional fossil resources (oil, coal and natural gas) face supply constraints and volatile markets, and concerns about economics and climate change have become widespread. And an abundant and promising source of energy exists in waves, tides and offshore currents and swells. The time to harness it is now! In order to discuss more about the ocean new energy, ICCOE 2018 will open a special workshop on Ocean Renewable Energy Application.
