The AEROTECH conference series has now entered into its seventh edition since its inception in 2005. It is a platform for academia, government agencies and industries to share current status in aerospace technologies, expand professional networking, and also offer possible collaborations for technology advancement. This time, AEROTECH VII is organised by the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia and co-organized with Universiti Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia Institute of Aviation Technology (UniKL MIAT) and it will be held in Putrajaya, Malaysia. The aerospace industry has a long and storied history of innovating to meet societal needs. Today, sustainability and efficiency are key motivators for aerospace researchers in the industry and academia. Hence, AEROTECH VII adopts the theme "Sustainability in Aerospace Engineering and Technology". The aim of AEROTECH VII is to promote creativity and advancement of aerospace engineering and technology to meet present and future needs while maintaining the spirit of sustainable solutions. Members of academia and industry are expected to exchange ideas and realize new and novel solutions to meet future challenges hand in hand. The conference program includes keynote lectures and technical presentations in the specialised areas of aerospace engineering. All accepted papers will be published in a Scopus-indexed publication: IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering. In addition, best conference paper awards in three distinctive categories of “Aeronautics”, “Astronautics” and “Applications” will be conferred to the author(s) of a full paper presented at the conference. The awards will be announced and presented at the conference closing session.
