In accordance with the mission of UiTM as a world-class university, the Faculty of Business and Management UiTM Kedah Branch has taken the initiative to hold The International Business and Economics Conference Kedah (iBECK 2018) for the first time as it is in line with the aspirations of UiTM Kedah to be an active institution in organizing research, publication, and commercialization globally. The iBECK 2018 welcomes local and international academicians, researchers, policy makers, industry players and professionals from both public and private sector to present papers and participate in the conference. The iBECK 2018 also anticipates scholars and students’ participations as well as representatives from the non-governmental/profit organization (NGOs) for sharing of ideas and knowledge pertaining to the conference themes that inclines towards sustainability and innovations as it will largely benefit diverse demographic in the business and economics fields. In conjunction, it is also well suited as a platform dedicated to promote the state of Kedah as one of a unique and attractive tourist charm in Malaysia. Thus, iBECK 2018 welcomes presenters with quality papers in the areas listed in Annex 1. The conference will be organized on two days of powerful talks of potential presenter. In recognition of the results of the research effort, articles submitted will go through a peer review process and will be valued accordingly to the body of knowledge, methodology, potential interest to academicians/public and conference themes that has been regulated which then a small number of articles will be selected as the 'Best Paper Award'.
