CAMS 2018 returns to Croatia after 11 years with the support of the KoREMA – national member organization of IFAC. IFAC TC on Marine Systems decided in 2016 (at the TC meeting during CAMS2016 in Trondheim, Norway) to join IFAC Conferences CAMS and MCMC, and the workshop NGCUV to one conference with the new name but old acronym. CAMS from now on, will run every year except the year when the IFAC World Congress is held. IFAC approved our decision in August 2017. CAMS 2018 will take place from 10th until 12th September 2018 in Opatija, Croatia, at the Conference Park 25/7 of the Milenij Hotels. The National Organizing Committee is looking forward to inviting you to join CAMS 2018, and to contribute to a successful event with your latest achievements in the field of automatic control applied to marine systems, marine robotics, and marine vehicles. CAMS 2018 will provide an excellent opportunity for industry, universities and research institutes to explore future trends in the domain of marine cyber-physical systems and to explore event for establishing new links and challenge novel innovative ideas. Objectives: The objective of the CAMS 2018 is to provide a forum for professionals, key academic and industrial practitioners, researchers, engineers and students involved in the broad field of control engineering applied to marine systems, robotics and vehicles. Marine cyber-physical systems motivated by recent, fast paced developments cover quite broad range of control, communication, computer science and information technology advancements that is changing the way how current marine systems are designed and operated. Special emphasis will be given to coordinated and cooperative marine systems, fault tolerant and reconfigurable systems, navigation, guidance and control of various agents (autonomous surface and underwater vehicles, autonomous ships, autonomous aerial vehicles for maritime domain, etc.). Submission Guidelines: Prospective authors are invited to submit papers of four (4) pages but no more than six (6) pages including results, figures and references. All contributions must be in the form according to IFAC style. Papers must be submitted via the PaperPlaza Conference Manuscript Management System. The PDF file must be limited to 2MB in size.
