Banner – University Medical Center is proud to join forces with the American Heart/American Stroke Association to provide this free screening service to the community from 8-11:30 a.m.
The Stroke Check screening is designed to identify persons at risk for stroke. (People currently under the care of a physician for stroke, mini-stroke, or TIA should instead continue care with their own physician.)
The free screening includes a stroke risk assessment, blood pressure screening, cholesterol/glucose screening and review of results by a physician.
Fasting for at least four hours is recommended for the cholesterol and glucose checks.
Free parking available.
Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registration is recommended by calling 520-694-6342 weekdays.
