On behalf of the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS), of the Ministry to the Presidency in charge of Agriculture and Livestock of Madagascar, of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Madagascar, of the University of Antananarivo, of the ESMIA (Ecole Supérieure de Management et d’Informatique Appliquée) in Antananarivo, and of the Organizing Committee, we kindly invite you to attend the International Symposium on Survey of Uses of Plant Genetic Resources to the Benefit of Local Populations. It will be held in Antananarivo (Madagascar), at IBIS HOTEL Antananarivo - Ankorondrano from 18 to 22 September, 2017.
Madagascar, ranked in the second place in the world for its rich biodiversity, is renowned for it. Not only tourists are visiting Madagascar mainly to discover its exceptional biodiversity, but also researchers, students, economic operators, botanists, environmentalists, NGOs,... from all around the world, are really pleased to help local population.
We wish to bring together all actors by sharing knowledge and information related to phytogenetic resources to the benefit of local populations.
