The Blended Learning Mastery Series: Research into Practice aims to promote a deeper understanding of blended learning research and practice among teaching faculty members, instructional designers, and institutional executives through a discussion and critique of recent literature on blended learning. Following the Quality Scorecard for Blended Learning as a framework, the topics of the workshops include a review of recent literature and standards, institutional implementation of blended learning, evidence-based best practices, scholarship, and evaluation of blended teaching and learning. At the conclusion of the series, participants will have completed a personal action plan that includes a problem statement where areas of blended learning instruction and/or implementation can be improved, best practices to address their problem statement, and an evaluation plan for gathering data on the effectiveness of the blended learning approach.
