Join us for an event sponsored by the Pegasus Physician Writers at Stanford with Jacob Towery, celebrating his newest book, "The Anti-Depressant Book." Dr. Towery is a psychiatrist and Adjunct Clinical Instructor of Psychiatry at the Stanford School of Medicine.
"The Anti-Depressant Book" is written specifically for teenagers and young adults who are struggling with depression, in response to the suicide clusters in Palo Alto as a way to help prevent as many suicides as possible. It covers the basics of cognitive behavioral therapy, offering a drug-free, step-by-step guide to feeling happier quickly and preventing relapse.
