Description:
If research and experience tells us what makes for good schools, why do we not have more of them in urban districts. In this webinar, after almost 15 years in various roles at Chicago Public Schools including Chief Administrative Officer and President of the school board, David Vitale, A.B.'68 and HGSE Dean's Leadership Council member, offers some insights as to why many of the lessons learned in public education have not been successfully applied in urban districts. Drawing on his experience at CPS, join David for a discussion about urban education and what steps educators can take to improve student outcomes.
