If you are a CLIL practitioner, scholar or teacher educator, we would like to count on your participation in this event in the quality of Workshop Facilitator.
We welcome proposals for 90-minute workshops within the broad topics below or any others you may consider relevant.
Implementing quality CLIL programmes in schools: the fundamentals
CLIL methodology
The role of language in CLIL
Teacher collaboration
Planning lessons and units of work
Task and materials design
Scaffolding strategies for teaching and learning
Language teaching strategies for content teachers
Engaging learners and supporting participation
Enhancing critical thinking
Using technology in the CLIL classroom
Assessment
Practitioner research in the CLIL classroom: gathering evidence of learning
Your proposal should be principled and practical. It should indicate:
1. knowledge/experience level of participants in CLIL - beginners/experienced/all;
2. the educational level for CLIL - pre-primary/primary/secondary or all/general;
3. specific subject area(s) reference, e.g., Geography, History or all/general;
4. intended activities for participants.
Posters
If you have done research into CLIL in school contexts, have been or are currently involved in a CLIL project, we would like to count on your participation in this event with a Poster Presentation.
We welcome Posters displaying results of research, project outcomes and teacher reflections on CLIL experience.
