CONFERENCE THEME The objective of the 2018 2nd International Conference on Biometric Engineering and Applications (ICBEA 2018) is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities on Biometric Engineering and Applications. 2018 2nd International Conference on Biometric Engineering and Applications (ICBEA 2018) will be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands during May 16-18, 2018.
This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experience face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration. Submitted conference papers will be reviewed by technical committees of the Conference.
PUBLICATION
ICBEA 2017 accepted and registered papers has been published in ACM conference proceedings (ISBN: 978-1-4503-4871-3) and indexed by Ei Compendex and Scopus. (Click)
After a careful reviewing process by at least 2-3 experts, accepted papers for the ICBEA 2018 will be published in International Conference Proceedings Series by ACM (ISBN: 978-1-4503-6394-5), which will be archived in the ACM Digital Library, and indexed by Ei Compendex and submitted to be reviewed by Scopus and Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI Web of Science).
Good News! Authors of the best papers accepted at ICBEA 2018 will be invited to submit an updated, extended and enhanced revision (at least 25%) of their paper to be considered for publication in the IET Biometrics Journal (Online ISSN 2047-4946, Print ISSN 2047-4938), which will be indexed in IET Inspec, SCI-E, Ei Compendex, DBLP, Google Scholar and Scopus, Impact Factor: 1.382, 5-year Impact Factor: 1.639, CiteScore: 1.810, SNIP: 1.078, SJR: 0.285.
Publication Ethics - Penalty against Plagiarism
We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtual of any academic. Hence any act of plagiarism is a totally unacceptable academic misconduct and cannot be tolerated.
One Best Oral Presentations will be selected from each oral session. The Certificate for Best Oral Presentation will be awarded after each session of the conference on May 16-17, 2018.
