University of Sindh Jamshoro is organizing Three Days 1st International Conference on “Contemporary Sociology, Social Sciences and Sustainable Development 2018” (ICCSSSD, 2018) is a significant forum for professional researchers, research scholars of Social Sciences, Government Institutes and Development sector.The conference is inviting standard research papers in different themes and areas. The conference is to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of Sociology, Anthropology, Gender Studies, Development Studies, Economics, Human Rights,Social Psychology and other social sciences disciplines. The Three Days International Conference on Contemporary Sociology, Social Sciences and Sustainable Development 2018(CSSSDG, 2018) is aimed to provide a forum for researchers, practitioners and professionals from the academia, industry, Government representatives, and Non-Government Organization to discourse on research, development and professional practice in fields’ interventions in society for sustainable development and right bas approach.
The conference will be held at Department of Sociology, University of Sindh Jamshoro 22-24 March, 2018.
The articles will be peer reviewed and will be evaluated based on originality, technical and research depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. Submissions will be chosen based on technical merit, interest, applicability, and how well they fit a coherent and balanced technical program. The author should report original unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. Articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere and must have not presented somewhere else in a conference. Manuscripts should follow the APA style and will be subject to both review and editing. All the selected papers will be published in a conference proceeding and will be distributed at conference.

As vice chancellor, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, a few aspects of my job that fascinate me most include organizing, attending or presiding a research conference; may it be regional national or international. I always think of a research moot as a great learning opportunity and as excellent platform to meet new people.
I am indeed very pleased to know that Department of Sociology is organizing 1st International Conference on “Contemporary Sociology, Social Sciences and Sustainable Development 2018” (ICCSSSD, 2018) on various themes / tracks, in the month of March instant.
Conferences serve as excellent platform not only for researchers, but also for policy-makers, teachers and advanced level (Mphil & PhD) scholars to acquire different new perspectives, learn new ideas and get acquainted with the latest trends in their field.
Conferences also serve as priceless sources to whet researcher’s skills by being in a new environment.
To me, the best benefit of participating in a research conference has often been to strengthen current ties and build new relations and connect with scholars, researchers, academia and social scientists from across the world.
I congratulate, Prof. Dr. Nagina Parveen, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Dr. Aijaz Ali Wasan Chairman Department of Sociology, Dr. Ameer Ali Abro Secretory Conference, Dr, Ghazala Panhwar, Ms. Muneera Junejo, Ms. Shabana tunio, Ms. Saeeda Shah, Mr. Niaz Ahmed Bhutto, Mr. Adeel Ahmed Brohi, Track Directors and Organizers of Conference, upon having taken lead in the Faculty of Social Sciences to go for this academically significant and innovative initiative. Conferences, I understand are the most effective causes of social change. It is in the research conference that one learns new thought- patterns, fresh insights and hitherto undiscovered dimensions of human intelligence, wisdom and creativity.
Conference inform, educate, motivate, challenge and compel researchers to create new knowledge.
As Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, I hope this conference will be achieving all the objectives I have mentioned above.

I take it as my profound privilege and honor to be the Secretory of as important an academic event as 1st International Conference on “Contemporary Sociology, Social Sciences and Sustainable Development 2018” (ICCSSSD, 2018).
My experience tells me that conferences help faculty, researchers, experts, decision-making individuals, educationists, administrators and academic managers to unite, collaborate, network and eventually become able to co-create.
It was with the afore-mentioned mission that I ventured into the idea of organizing a research conference at my parent department and university.
I express my sincere gratitude, first and foremost to Dr. Aijaz Ali Wasan Chariman Department of Sociology next to Professor Dr. Nagina Parveen Dean faculty of Social Sciences and still next and more so to my inspiring mentor, teacher and guide Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat, Vice Chancellor University of Sindh for accepting and respecting our humble proposal.
