CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSIONS /WORKSHOPS (Deadline: December 22, 2017)
ICIAR 2018 - 15th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON IMAGE ANALYSIS AND
RECOGNITION
June 27-29, 2018, Póvoa de Varzim, Porto, Portugal
Focused Topics:
Together with the general topics of ICIAR (listed at the end), the three
focused topics are:
Deep Learning in Biology and Medicine
Knowledge Discovery in Driver Behavior Recognition
Retinal Image Analysis for Screening and Diagnosis
ICIAR 2018 is the 15th conference of a series of ICIAR conferences organized in
Portugal and Canada. Authors are invited to submit full papers showing original
research contributions. The page limit is 8 pages (1-column - LNCS Springer
format), plus 2 extra pages. The sessions will comprise invited keynote
speakers, oral and poster presentations. Authors are invited to submit full
papers under the topics of the conference, addressing original research
developments. The conference proceedings will be published in the Springer LNCS
- Lecture Notes in Computer Science series.

SPECIAL SESSIONS / WORKSHOPS
Proposals for special invited sessions or workshops are welcome. The proposed
sessions must include a title, a short introduction with brief description,
main session topics, contact information
for the session chair(s) and their short bio's, and a list of authors already
contacted or to be contacted. The papers submitted to the special session will
go through the normal review process. Proposals should be submitted to the conference
chairs not later than December 22, 2017.

PAPER SUBMISSION
Authors are invited to submit full papers showing original research
contributions. The conference proceedings is planned to be published in the
Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science series (Springer LNCS). Only
electronic submission will be accepted through the conference paper submission
