This project is not only far away from the traditional definition of collage, challenging the popular ways of composing and organizing your artwork but also pushing the artist to use the supplies and findings which are usually considered to be not interesting or even useless – bits and pieces from our studios, kitchens, garages, gardens… with the presented techniques all these options are possible… and there is a high chance you will have hard time throwing anything away!
I will share my experience in creating rich, multi-layered projects and help you create your own collage breaking the whole process into small, easy to follow steps. I’ll explain the tools, paints and mediums we will be using and give tips how to get the best possible results. We’ll make our fingers dirty and get some creative wind in our hair together – there are no limits in creativity!
All the techniques can be easily used on many other projects such as home decor and altered objects or journal pages. Project is suitable both for advanced and beginning students.
