Come out to Banff and capture the colours as the sun goes down over the mountains. Kristin Repsher, a Calgary-based professional photographer, will be leading this workshop and taking you to some of the best spots to watch the sunset in Banff National Park.
We will get there very early so we can capture the golden light of the hour before sunset as well as sunset and a bit of blue hour afterwards. We'll also experiment with longer exposures on the clouds and see how they change as the light dims at twilight.
This meetup is open to all skill levels. Kristin will also provide you with a cheat sheet to help you with camera settings and composition ideas. Please message if you have any questions regarding gear before the workshop.
The fee for this event will cover tuition (Kristin is there to help you, not to take her own photos) as well as learning materials provided on the day.
These events will last around 3 hours (plus drive time from Calgary if that is your start point). Please ensure that, if you plan to drive, you have a National Parks Discovery Pass (free in 2017).
