This seminar will familiarize you with management and quality
assurance principles, how to develop a safety and health management
system, and present a methodology to audit safety and health management
systems. OSHA’s Program Management Guidelines will be used as the
template for the seminar presentation, with examples from OHSAS 18000
and ANSI Z10. Techniques on interviewing and scoring employee and
supervisor interviews will also be discussed.
Learn to:
* Prerequisites: Students should either have auditing experience, and their company should have some type of established auditing program, not necessarily a health and safety management auditing system. A basic understanding of management principles or quality programs (e.g., VPP,TQM or ISO 9000/14000) will be helpful.
