The Bay Area Resilient by Design Challenge is an upcoming competition that will engage teams of architects, engineers, planners, and community leaders to design innovative solutions to the challenges of climate change and sea level rise in the region. Amanda Brown-Stevens, the recently named Managing Director for Resilient by Design will visit Stanford on April 25th at 2:30pm to discuss the challenge. Amanda has significant experience working in government and conservation in the Bay Area. This event will be an opportunity to learn about an exciting interdisciplinary approach to designing for resilience and find out more about how Stanford students and faculty can participate. The presentation will take place in Y2E2 180 from 2:30-4:00pm.
