Join us this March for an absolutely animated Homeschool Day focused around animation and the absurd and wonderful art of Rube Goldberg. Led by Tony White, a British Academy Award-winning animation director, animator, author, and educator, this workshop will have you planning, sketching, and animating your own ideas for machines that elaborately accomplish simple tasks. The day will feature a two-hour hands-on workshop, a galley activity in The Art of Rube Goldbergexhibit, and time to visit MoPOP galleries.
Classes are suitable for students 6–14 years of age. Parents are asked to be active participants in the workshop classes for the full program.
Choose from three class times:
9:30am–12:30pm
12:30pm–3:30pm
1:30pm–4:30pm
MoPOP offers a unique opportunity for homeschooled students and their families to participate in thematic, hands-on experiences centered on the museum’s exhibits and content.
