Description:
Visible Thinking is an approach to teaching thinking that develops students' thinking dispositions, such as the inclination to be curious, open-minded, or planful, while also deepening their understanding of the topics they study. Rather than a set of fixed lessons, Visible Thinking offers a set of thinking routines—easy-to-apply teaching strategies that can be used for introducing and exploring ideas, synthesizing and organizing ideas, or digging deeper into ideas. The routines make students’ thinking visible at all grade levels and content areas.
