Le
Mans is a truly unique city and the home of the world-famous 24 Hours
of Le Mans race, which was first held in 1923. This true test of
endurance is held each year at the Circuit de la Sarthe, a track mainly
made up of closed public roads around Le Mans. This event is clearly the
pinnacle of motorsport endurance racing and attracts such marquees as
Audi, Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Nissan, Toyota, Corvette and BMW.
But Le Mans has more to offer beyond it’s legendary motorsports history.
The old city of Le Mans is especially appealing and features ancient
Roman walls, a true labyrinth of winding alleyways and many old
buildings which are full of character. And outside the city, you will
find the inviting and majestic French countryside.
The
24 Hours of Le Mans is visited by racing fans from around the globe, as
well as locals. Until now, only very expensive VIP packages have been
available and none offering a focus on the passion of Motorsports
Photography such as ours. We are proud to bring you this unique
opportunity. We also include several days of landscape photography
throughout the Loire Valley and Mont Saint-Michel.
This
adventure is designed not only to guide you to best available trackside
locations, but to instruct you on how to shoot exciting motorsports
photography. Our aim is to raise your awareness and spark your
creativity so that you not only go home with images to be proud of, but
use your new found skills to improve and expand your photographic
technique in general. Apart from the technical aspect of learning your
camera settings and capabilities, you will learn how to turn an ordinary
image into an extraordinary image by using your own creativity.
Our
time together will include individual and group discussions, inspiring
ideas and great fun. We cannot think of a better location to express
your creativity and learn about motorsports photography than the
excitement and beauty of Le Mans!
