We are seeking experienced Business Development Managers ready to move up to the next level or Managing Directors looking for a change to partner with our Founders to fulfill Ascendo’s objective of sourcing top talent in the market and providing exceptional service to our clients. In this role, you will use your passion, industry knowhow, and creativity to develop long-lasting relationships and maintain Ascendo’s strong business culture.
Workload Expectations:
- Bring in, develop, and grow new and existing clients for the specific department under management
- Maintain the Ascendo culture when developing internal teams of Executive Recruiters and Business Development professionals
- Motivate and inspire the internal teams to always do better and continue to strive for success
- Keep the office profitable and current on trainings and development towards Ascendo’s ultimate goals
What you’ll need to bring:
- 2 – 5 years of strong full life cycle Recruitment and Business Development experience in an environment where the quality of your work trumps quantity
- 4 – 8 held in a senior or management position
- Work with direct reports and maintained a goal oriented team
- Demonstrate the ability to motivate recruitment and sales teams and develop strategies to help accomplish goals
- Understand the difference between a Leader and a Boss
- Preferred areas of experience should lie in;
- Information Technology; Project Manager, Systems Architect, Software Architect, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Wed Developer, Hardware Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Systems Analyst, Systems Programmer, Systems Engineer, Systems Administrators, Technical Support, Network Engineer, Network Administrator, Data Analyst, Database Administrator, Technical Writer, QA Engineer, QA Analyst, Test Engineer, Test Analyst, Help Desk, Etc…
- Have knowledge of or has worked in the permanent or temp/contract arena
- Effectively be able to utilize available recruiting tools, advanced sourcing techniques, and social media to locate and engage talent
- Attract passive and active talent within your market by creating excitement about Ascendo’s ability to open the doors to great career opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to build an active pipeline of quality People or Clients from your own sourcing efforts
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not necessary
- Legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorship
