The Automation/Controls Engineer position is largely responsible for supporting the development of new automated manufacturing equipment. The Automation Engineer will take ownership of controls and electrical specifications for all designed equipment, and perform the hands-on implementation of controls systems as well. An individual who is inclined to qualify and validate these automated machines is highly sought after.


Among others, the Automation/Controls Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

* This position will be responsible for control systems design, programming, simulation, testing, and start-up assistance. Must have experience in PLC programming
* Applies principles of engineering and electrical theory to create designs. Implements and debugs prototypes, machinery and associated systems.


The best candidates for this Automation/Controls Engineering position will possess the following qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science in a relevant Engineering discipline
* 3+ years Controls/Automation Engineering experience
* Experience programming PLC's and HMI's
