Systems is seeking a system engineer with experience in design, integration and test experience of electro-optical systems.
The position requires the candidate to possess strong closure orientation and
multi-tasking abilities to lead a small engineering team while contributing technically.
| Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost, risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions. Translates customer requirements into hardware/software specifications. Technical monitoring of subcontractors may be required in some cases. Customer discussions regarding system designs, requirements and test results. |
EO/IR Systems – Threat detection fundamentals and operational tech in the UV and IR spectrums. A good grasp of optics and associated parameters and understanding threat detection system environments is recommended.
Communications Links - Ethernet TCP/IP, UDP, Scramnet, HOTLink, 62.5/125LC-LC Duplex interfaces, serial, etc.
Software Engineering C+, C# on Windows and Linux environments. Real-time systems
