Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized architectural and engineering firm, is seeking a civil engineer to join our aviation group.
Responsibilities include planning, design, and construction management of airside airport infrastructure and development projects; preparation of design reports, cost estimates, specifications, design plans, construction safety plans, schedules, studies and permits; and assisting with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects. Travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited institution in civil engineering and at least four years of relevant civil engineering or design experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: PE license or ability to obtain within two years of hire; planning, design, and construction infrastructure/site projects relating to highways or airports; AutoCAD Civil 3D, FAARFIELD, PCASE, AeroTURN or AutoTURN; current municipal, county, state, or Federal Aviation Administration design guidelines; quantity and cost estimating of design plans, grading, and drainage design; pavement design; and construction administration.
