Ajilon is working with a growing retail and ecommerce company to hire several Industrial Engineers at their state-of-the-art Ecommerce Fulfillment Center in the Spartanburg, SC area. Our client’s online sales have increased exponentially and have added these positions to help maximize the productivity of their operation. The Industrial Engineering team will determine where production improvement opportunities exist, plan & execute solutions.
What a typical day looks like:
-Perform analyses of key functions both on a network and facility level to determine opportunities for operational cost reductions and/or productivity gains.
-Act as an internal advisor for management staff – never being satisfied with the status quo.
-Design process improvement solutions – whether systems, MHE, or labor staffing
-Be a change agent: work closely with operations leadership to build consensus in action
What you bring to the table:
-BA/BS or equivalent experience in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or Operations Research
- Lean Six Sigma, CPSM or PMP certifications a plus
5+ years in high-volume distribution, fulfillment operations, 3PL or manufacturing operations planning
