Position Summary
The Finance Department in the Eli Broad College of Business seeks applications for a Instructor-Fixed Term appointment from August 16, 2020-December 31, 2020. Duties include teaching Business Law and Ethical Leadership to undergraduate business students. Excellent teaching skills are required at the undergraduate level to a diverse student body. Preference will be given to candidates with extensive experience practicing business law and teaching experience.
Minimum Requirements
This position requires a JD degree from an accredited university. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of teaching excellence and the ability to teach at the undergraduate level. Specific areas of expertise for this position include knowledge of business law and business ethics.
Required Application Materials
Applicants will be required to submit their CV, three letters of recommendation, recent teaching evaluations, and a short statement of teaching philosophy. The applicant must also submit a professional writing sample of at least 1,000 words such as a research memorandum, published paper or article, or similar.
