Navigate BioPharma Services, a Novartis company, is focused on developing and commercializing evidence-driven diagnostic tests to improve physicians' ability to optimize patient outcomes.We’re currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team in the position of:Scientist / Sr Scientist (SPR-Surface Plasma Resonance)Position Summary:Design, create, execute, and troubleshoot complex Ligand Binding Assays (LBA) intended for clinical trial application and diagnostic development. Serves as key subject matter expert for Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) based assays, leads projects from concept to completion. Demonstrates critical thinking, initiative and manages success and failure of their projects. Exhibits high level of independence and prioritizes multiple projects. Participate on cross functional teams and development of alternate/new technologies of strategic importance. Identifies challenges and communicates risks to leadership in an expedient manner. Works under minimal supervision while consulting with peers as required. Be able to direct routine tasks of associates with and without authority. Develops timelines and work flows to ensure successful execution of assigned projects and processes.

• Demonstrated understanding of ligand binding assays, protein-protein interaction, Surface Plasmon Resonance techniques is a MUST• Ability to apply principles, concepts, practices and standards associated with analytical assay development/validation and/or sample testing in a laboratory setting.• Demonstrated experience and understanding of techniques directly applicable to the research services provided by Navigate (e.g., flow cytometry, IHC) is preferable• Excellent written and oral communication and intrapersonal skills required.• Critical thinking, high degree of ownership, good presentations skills, ability to quickly adapt to changing projects and priorities, business acumen.• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem solving skillsApplications accepted at www.navigatebp.com under careers
