We are experiencing significant growth and are seeking an experienced Accountant who will be a key player in supporting our accounting processes; providing analytical support to help drive the Company’s continued growth.

Datameer is looking for an Accountant for our finance team located in San Francisco.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Key contributor in the period-end close process and completion of related GL and Consolidation tasks.
  • GL and BS account reconciliations
  • repare account analysis and journal entries, expense accruals, prepaid amortization, international accounting and consolidations.
  • Assist with tax preparation
  • Assist with external audit requests and PBC items
  • Assist in answering accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
  • Assist with payroll processing as needed
  • Assist with Global payroll system (ADP Streamline) and ERP accounting system (Netsuite) migrations
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and perform adhoc analyses as requiredAssist in month-end and year-end closing including bank reconciliation, and ledger account reconciliation, journal entry preparation.
  • Projects to continuously improve the close and reporting processes
  • Provide general support to the accounting department
  • Other duties as assigned by department manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is highly preferred.
  • 4+ years accounting experience is required.
  • Strong computer skills are highly preferred.
  • Intermediate with MS Excel is required (pivot tables and v-look up).
  • Excellent organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task and work well both independently and as part of a team is required.
  • Self-starter. Ability to work well under pressure is required.
  • Knowledge of best practices and their application are required.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment is required. This includes both internal employees and external contacts (auditors, banks, etc.).
  • Experience with global accounting is required.
  • Proficiency with Netsuite.
  • Netsuite implementation a plus.
  • Experience in working with Sync HR or Expensify is a plus.
  • Experience in a software environment a plus
