The College of Communication and Media Sciences offers a comprehensive program of study, providing students opportunities to develop their communication skills and prepare themselves to play important professional leadership roles.

Studies lead to a B.S. degree in Communication and Media Sciences with concentrations in one of three areas: Integrated Strategic Communications, Media Production and Storytelling and Tourism and Cultural Communications. Undergraduate courses are single-gender education with male and female students attending separate classes in separate facilities. Graduate programs leading to an M.A. degree also exist in Tourism and Cultural Communication and in Strategic Public Relations.

Zayed University's College of Communication and Media Sciences seeks enthusiastic part-time faculty for the Fall 2020 semester, and beyond, to teach a variety of communication subjects to Emirati students.

The College seeks part-time faculty at the ranks of Instructor, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor, to teach courses in the following areas: Integrated Strategic Communications, Media Production and Storytelling and Tourism and Cultural Communications.

The Responsibilities
Adjunct (part-time) faculty are responsible for melding their expertise with the established course syllabus to create dynamic instructional delivery to enthusiastic Emirati students. All part-time faculty will be supervised and report to the College's Associate/Assistant/Dean.

Typically each class meets two or three times a week. Occasionally a course is scheduled for a single day over a longer time period. Most courses will run for the entire semester from either August - December or January - May.

The Requirements
The ideal candidates for these positions are expected to have a record of previous teaching experience that meets international standards and should possess a minimum of a master's degree, preferably a PhD, from an accredited university, have experience in the mass media or communications field or related discipline, and be well-versed in current technological practice.Candidates must have a UAE residence visa and be able to provide a letter of no-objection from their sponsor.
