Scope and Purpose:

Under the supervision of the Director of PR & Marketing, this position will provide support on multiple areas related to marketing, interactive media, and creative design.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Serves as AUK’s primary photographer/videographer including editing photos and video footage.

· Manages AUK photography and videography projects, requests, and archives.

· Designs interactive ads, presentations, and communication tools.

· Designs social media posts.

· Training student workers in use of equipment; and working with communications staff to determine creative ways to use video to promote University mission.

· Other special projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Creative Design, or related field.

· Additional training experience is an added advantage.

Experience:

· Minimum 2 years

Skills:

· Possess artistic abilities and proficiency in using professional cameras and photo manipulation software.

· Proficient knowledge of creative design and publications software, including Adobe Creative Suite.

· Ability to compose a shot, understand framing, color and light to create a visually attractive shot.

· Attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

· Willingness to attend evening and off-campus university events for coverage.

· Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.
