The Klipsch School of Electrical & Computer Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the broad area of cybersecurity (including, but not limited to, hardware cybersecurity). Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. by the time of their appointment (Spring or Fall 2018), and have a strong commitment to both research and teaching. Research strengths include: renewable energy integration and smartgrid, communications & sensors, data science, artificial intelligence, systems & software, IoT, and photonics. The Klipsch School has BS/MS/PhD degree programs, and a vibrant research environment. NMSU has a strong interest in an undergraduate curriculum that meets the NSA cyber-defense requirements. This effort, along with the presence of New Mexico’s two national laboratories and both federal and industrial research organizations, present an opportunity for the successful candidate to contribute to a strong cybersecurity program. |
