Scope of Job:
• Assist with the planning and coordinating of graduate retention events such as workshops, orientations, symposiums, etc.
• Assist with scanning, records management, etc.
• Assist in the administration of the day-to-day operations
• Experience/knowledge of computer user assistance, data maintenance.
• Coordinate social media and other types of communications.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Assist with incoming inquiries and incoming visitors.
• Other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Currently admitted to the Graduate School
2. Be in good academic standing
3. Be registered full-time for the respective semester (nine semester credit hours during the fall
semester, nine semester credit hours during spring semester, six semester credit hours during the
summer session(s)), or in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the only remaining requirements on the degree plan.
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications:
• Must be a full-time graduate student (9 hours during the Fall or Spring semester and 6 hours during Summer months)
• Able to work well with diverse groups of people and have good communication skills
• Must possess superior writing and editing skills
• Must have excellent organizational and project management skills
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision
• Must posses computer and problem-solving skills.
