Designs systems of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls for machines and equipment, utilizing knowledge of computer-aided design and applying knowledge of electricity, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:

  • BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering from a four-year college or university required, with 5-7 years engineering experience within an automotive manufacturing environment preferred.

Experience with the following:

  • Automated test and controls.
  • LabVIEW programming.
  • Experience with CompactDAQ with C series Modules
  • Smart Cameras with NI Vision Builder
  • Mitsubishi PLC's with HMI
  • Mitsubishi Robots
  • Light curtains, safety laser scanners and two-hand anti-tie down controls
  • OrCAD Schematic Software

  • Experience programming Visual Basic Six or later.
