Job Description
A large employer in Athens is seeking a pagination supervisor to oversee the pagination hub for seven regional newspapers. This person will supervise the pagination department, design, proof and correct print pages, as well as work with newsroom editors to ensure smooth workflow of daily content production.
This is a full-time, direct-hire position requiring afternoon and evening hours. Pay is commensurate with qualifications and this company offers a full benefits package.
Required Qualifications
This position requires strong organization and time-management skills along with a mastery of grammar, spelling and Associated Press style writing. A high school diploma is required although a bachelor's degree in journalism, graphic design, or communications-related field along with 3-5 years of editing and layout experience is strongly preferred.
