Position Summary
The research associate, postdoctoral researcher, will work on the NIDCD-funded project, “Developmental Trajectories to Stuttering Persistence and Recovery” a longitudinal innovative project mapping developmental trajectories of critical neurological, behavioral-emotional, and experiential factors that ultimately lead to stuttering persistence or recovery in individual children. The candidate will contribute to all stages of this project, including the conception and design of experiments, data analysis and interpretation, and coordinating with the project manager and speech-language pathologist to provide oversight of the project including the students working in the lab. The researcher will be trained in the responsible conduct of research and in the methodologies of different physiological approaches used in the lab. The candidate will be involved in preparing written/oral presentations for journal publications and conferences and are expected to develop their independent programmatic line of research.

Doctorate -speech, language, and hearing science
Minimum Requirements
Desired Qualifications
Prior experience in neurophysiological/physiological data collection with children is desirable.
