Provide the vision and creative leadership for animation projects and animated elements of videos.
Guide, supervise, and mentor the animation team.
Have overall responsibility for the quality of all animated elements of our videos.
Communicate between other team leads on work for new projects.
Be responsible for delivering consistent performances from the animation team.
Determine and guide narrative content and visual style of a production.
Recruit, interview, schedule, train, and evaluate freelance vendors.
Work on multiple projects concurrently, meet demanding review schedules, and balance time constraints.
What You’re All About...
You are a master of motion graphics with a working knowledge of 3D. You have an intimate understanding of Adobe After Effects and compositing, and have a wide knowledge base of expressions, plug-ins, and techniques, and nerd out when new technologies and techniques are released. You know how to read others’ strengths and match them up with tasks to fulfill the overall vision for a project. You have gained a lot of professional experience and a strong track record of success. You have proven leadership skills developed over years, have lots of experience both working in and leading teams, and know how to keep drama to a minimum in those teams. You have a solid 10+ years of animation and leadership experience at the agency/post house level, and it would be nice if you have a Bachelor’s Degree as well.

THE MASTER of Adobe After Effects and know how it works together with the rest of Adobe CC.
An expert compositor with vast experience in tracking, rotoscoping, and 3D integration.
Understanding of 3D workflows and most common software platforms (Cinema 4D, Maya, Moto, 3D Studio Max)
Passionate about videos & films.
Creative, imaginative, and have artistic flair.
Innovative.
Super flexible.
Humble enough to hear a good idea and go with it, even if it’s different than your own.
Self-motivated and well organized.
Able to help the team balance their creative desires with the requirements of the production.
A great project manager and can direct and implement the story, design, layout, and animation utilizing the strengths of your team.
Able to meet deadlines and work to a budget.
Great at interpreting direction and communicating that direction to your team.
