DESCRIPTION

This position provides hands-on multimedia production support to the campus student body, faculty, and staff. Under the supervision of the Director of the Multimedia Innovation Center (MIC), this individual will provide one-on-one technical training, feedback and critique, and troubleshooting on video/audio-related course projects. This individual will also be responsible for filming and editing creative and compelling videos to be used for education, development, marketing, and promotion of Penn State Lehigh Valley. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to still photography at on and off-campus events and closed-captioning of completed videos. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism, film, media, or communications field and at least two years work experience in video and/or multimedia production (or examples of freelance work). Must be willing to work night and weekend events. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks. Experience with DSLR cameras and Final Cut Pro editing software (Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop a plus).
