Overview:
Provides technical expertise to determine the most effective use of equipment, facilities, materials, labor and other assets to meet customer requirements and allow the operation to run at the utmost efficiency
Responsibilities:
- Will work independently and in a team environment to support the daily function of the manufacturing operation
- Will work on continuous improvement projects and new program launches
- Will work closely with senior staff on layout of manufacturing floor as new equipment is purchased
- Will work closely with other departments to develop solutions to various manufacturing processes
- Will work on labor standards, BOM’s, and operation procedures.
Qualifications:
Required Competencies, Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in Plastic Injection Molding preferred
- Experience in medical or automotive manufacturing a plus
- FDA knowledge and experience a plus
- BS in Industrial Engineering is highly preferred
- Will consider BSME or BSEE, only with manufacturing experience; not a design position
