Job DescriptionCarollo Engineers is a nationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Financial Services Project Manager to join our team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project delivery responsibilities include performing rate studies, economic analyses, and utility organizational and asset management studies
- Project management responsibilities include overseeing the work of analyst(s), subcontractors, and administrative personnel performing rate studies, economic analyses, and utility organizational and asset management studies
- Position includes responsibility for primary work, as well as quality control for work performed under his/her direction
- Position requires a team oriented person who enjoys mentoring junior analytical staff and possesses the ability to contribute to the tactical and strategic direction of the Business Solutions Group
Required Skills- Thorough knowledge of utility financial management and budgeting, rate studies, economic analyses, utility organizational and asset management studies, and other BSG services; strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic, organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and be self-motivated
- Ability to effectively work either independently or in a team setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with groups and individuals at all levels in an organization
- Experience in training and mentoring junior analytical staff
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
Required Experience- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or other applicable field of study
- At least five (5) years of experience, three (3) of which in a supervisory role
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other applicable field of study
- Working knowledge of the requirements of California Proposition 218
