The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University
seeks a part-time instructor to teach 1 open section of Sociology 101 –
Introduction to Sociology -Fall ’19 (3 credits).
Course Description: This course focuses on the principal concepts, methods, and findings in sociology. Societal structures, processes, institutions, and social roles from both macro and microanalytic human behavior perspectives.
Qualifications:
A minimum of an MA in Sociology or a closely related discipline. Preference will be given to ABD and PhD level students from our program and instructors who have previously taught for us.
Job Specific Qualifications:
Evidence of effective teaching experience is necessary.
