Analyze current processes and work flows to identify areas of improvement
Research and select/design equipment to automate and improve current production processes
Design and implement new production projects to improve efficiency and throughput
Identify critical points within the production process for quality control checks
Calibrate, test, and maintain implemented automation solutions
Create detailed documentation (design specifications, assembly and work flow charts, etc.)
Adhere to all safety policies, regulations, and procedures
Job RequirementsQualifications
Previous experience in industrial automation engineering or other related fields
Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests
Familiarity with technical drawings and blueprints
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Excellent manual dexterity
Experience with PLC logic and PLC / HMI programming
