Team Varen is seeking a Senior Software Engineer Lead to bring their A-game in suport of this Department of Defense team. This is an opportunity to lead a team to design, develop, and test application software to fulfill unique OS requirements on challenging and mission-critical projects in Computer Networks Operations (CNO). Will build applications using a specified programming language per the Government and build graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for custom applications with the ability to remain agile and flexible to respond to evolving requirements.
Qualifications:REQUIRED: Successful candidate must have 8 years' experience programming with OO programming languages. Must have 5 years' experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments OR 5 years' experience developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments. Senior developer candidate must have 3 years' experience leading projects that develops complex software, ensuring a collaborative environment, and configuration management.
DESIRED: Experience developing complex programs using, C, C#, C++, Java, or other comparable languages. Experience implementing software life cycle management (requirements, design, develop, test, validate, deploy). Experience with Django, Python, C/C++, Jenkins and/or Jira are a plus.
