System One is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a one year contract position in Walnut Creek, CA.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be leading a team of engineers and technicians for a telecommunication project to support OSS Back Office.
The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for leading and supervising the telecom team and will:
- Develop crew plans for design teams and implementation teams.
- Communicate & Report internally to staff and externally to client.
- Prepare for meetings with the client and give presentations.
- Develop BOM and material tracking processes.
- NERC CIP compliance
- Environmental and Safety Compliance
- Develop Visio drawings
- Make schedules via MS Project or Primavera 6
- Be skilled in other MS Office programs: Word, Excel
Senior Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Preferred or minimum eight (8) years related experience in telecommunication
- Experience Word and Excel
- Experience with OSS “Back office” circuit tools: Metasolv and Granit
- Understand CLLI codes and CLR sheets
- Knowledge of:
- Netguardian

- 48 VDC communication site power design

- NetSync's access controls systems
