Responsibilities:
The Accounting Analystwill be involved in the accounting operations of the company, assistance in periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
- Involved in the day-to-day finance operations and accounting for Company’s international subsidiaries.
- Involved in General Accounting which include reconciliations, preparation of financial statements, analysis and reporting.
- To co-ordinate all accounting activities associated with the General Ledger particularly journal entries, accruals, fixed assets, inter-company, cash and bank.
- Manage Accounts Payable invoicing and employee claims.
- Help with the timely and accurate execution of accounting close (monthly and quarterly)
- Assistance with updating Netsuite.
- Develop, maintain and ensure complete accounting records for all transactions with adequate support, in auditable form, and in accordance with US GAAP
- Assistance in preparation of audit PBCs in a timely manner.
- Assist in identifying process inefficiencies and suggest process improvements.
- Support all tax return preparation and accuracy of tax provision for accounting
- Follow Corporate policies and procedures.
- Actively partner with the vendors and payroll providers of international subsidiaries worldwide
- Assist in the accounting close of international subsidiaries worldwide to ensure auditable records and in accordance with the US GAAP.
- Provide support to finance management.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelors or Master's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
· Chartered Accountant preferable
· 4+years in the accounting role
· Extensive knowledge of USGAAP
· Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP system, and accounting software implementation
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Sell-motivated and independent with a strong work ethic
· Attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to prioritize and function with minimal supervision
