Come tax time, and QBSE allows customers to collaborate with an accountant to easily file their taxes and for those with higher confidence, integrates with TurboTax Self-Employed (TTSE) for an easy filing. The QuickBooks Self-Employed Marketing team is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager a top company priority. Specifically, our strategy of growing QBSE through Accountants around the world and bringing an unprecedented experience for Self-Employed to do taxes with an expert. You will co-drive with a partner on the Accountant team and the Product team to craft a go-to-market strategy and execution that will deliver hundreds of thousands of new users.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customer insights to uncover attitudes and behaviors of Self-Employed prospects
  • Turn customer insights into an actionable go-to-market strategy for QBSE through Accountants. You will co-drive strategy and execution with a marketer from the Accountant team in the US and be the main driver for world-wide growth with high visibility to senior leaders. Go-to-market plan is inclusive of:
- Customer backed positioning and messaging delivered across the end-to-end experience (marketing and product)

- Pricing and business model innovation

- Multi-channel awareness and acquisition campaigns: TV, search, display, mobile, social, content, partners, DR, PR

- Partner with finance to define (and manage towards) user growth and revenue goals

  • Build strong relationships with marketing teams across QuickBooks and Accountant teams
  • Partner closely with product team (product managers, designers, and developers) to deliver new delightful experiences to grow conversion, active use and customer delight
  • Continuously learn and iterate through quick tests marketing programs to continuously improve growth outcomes
  • Continuous customer and market insights to shape strategy and execution and influence across company stakeholders
  • Present to senior leaders (VPs and SVPs) on regular basis
  • Manage business performance on a weekly basis and actively analyze data to tell performance story to senior leaders and identify insights for improvement
  • Beyond your role, be a leader and key contributor to the broader QBSE Marketing team

All of the above, is in service to driving massive growth for QBSE by hundreds of thousands of new self-employed users and making a meaningful difference in their lives by saving them thousands on taxes and giving them control of their finances.

Qualifications

Marketing

  • Strong strategic thinker with experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies
  • Passion for delighting customers and using customer insights to improve end-to-end experiences
  • Experience creating and executing high-impact multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels (advertising, web, mobile, email, in-product, etc)
  • Solid understanding of marketing fundamentals to drive growth (positioning, messaging, segmentation, pricing, business models, digital channels, conversion funnels, LTV, CAC, A/B testing, brand)
  • Identifies big insights by synthesizing inputs from multiple data sources to unlock growth opportunities; develops business cases and activation plans to support
  • 5+ years of business experience leading complex marketing strategy development and crossfunctional execution
  • 1-2 years of experience in software marketing
  • Experience growing into global markets highly preferable but not required

  • Demonstrated leadership, evidence of outstanding performance and fast learner
